Prior to joining Varagon, Marina was a Managing Director of BlackRock’s Alternative Strategies group, where she raised capital for hedge fund and private credit offerings.

Previously, she was with Anchorage Capital Group, where she managed the firm’s relationships with a range of domestic and foreign institutional investors, including pension plans, endowments, foundations and sovereign wealth funds.

She earned a Bachelors of Commerce degree from McGill University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
